First loose tooth

I was helping Bethany brush her teeth tonight when I noticed something white behind one of her bottom front teeth. At first I thought she had some kind of infection, so I poked at it with the floss pick. That's when I realized that her adult tooth was coming in. So I started to wiggle the front tooth, and sure enough, it was pretty loose. I tried to show Bethany and get her to wiggle it some more, so it would come out faster. I even told her about the tooth fairy and that the fairy would leave her money when the tooth came out, but I don't think she was really listening to me (big surprise there!). Maybe tomorrow I'll check the local library for a book about the tooth fairy and see if that spurs some more interest.
